YOGURT'S YOGURT

Last night Lin and I checked out Pinkberry to find out what all the hype was all about. It's not bad. I got a small Original which is $2.50. The whole time I was eating it, I kept thinking, what does this taste like? I just knew it tasted like something else I've had before. Lin suggested "sour milk?" But no, that wasn't it. I thought maybe sour cream? I finally figured it out on my drive home. It tastes like those little, teeny, tiny yogurt milk cups I get at the Japanese market. You know what I mean, they come in packs of six, each in a light plastic mini keg with a red foil seal. I LOVE those and I used to put them in the freezer to get them nice and cold. Anyhow, given that I love those little yogurt cups, I do like Pinkberry, but I'm not over the top in love with it, where I'd have to hunt down a Pinkberry in every town. Especially since I know its essentially like something else. Now that topfen gelato... I would drive a long way for it. Maybe even fly back for it. Course, Gina would go with me so she could get her sturm fix. Now those are really good.
